What is Conscious Breathwork?

Throughout life, our breathing patterns vary according to the situations we encounter. YBS is dedicated to providing opportunities to understand these changes in breath and how to effectively utilize them.

The breath affects every organ, system and function in the body. It impacts the way we feel, think and move. Focusing on conscious breathwork practices can be used to help;


  • Reduce stress & anxiety levels
  • Help with symptoms of long covid & chronic fatigue
  • Increase joy & happiness
  • Regulate the nervous system
  • Improve blood pressure & heart rate 
  • Release negative thoughts
  • Boost immunity
  • Process emotions, heal emotional pain & trauma

Minimum Effective Dose


Breathwork  sessions with YBS  use a method called Minimum Effective Dose; there isn't one specific way to breathe, a variety of practises are used for your body to adapt and heal. One session can include connected breathing, breath awareness, cadence breathing, movement and breath holds. Allowing your body to experience various sensations through different techniques, gives you a greater understanding of the power of your breath. 


Throughout sessions, you'll learn methods to use in your daily life. Tips and tools to reduce stress and anxiety, boost energy and positivity as well as improving quality of sleep.
